TWIZTID Unveils Remaster of Classic Track ‘Respirator’

twiztid 2016-02-11

Chart-topping rap duo TWIZTID has been spitting out hits since the late 1990’s. Known primarily by newer fans for their hard-hitting, tongue-twisting horrorcore rap style, old-school fans know that TWIZTID haven’t always kept it so straightforward. Proving their ability to blend contrasting styles, TWIZTID released their first full-length rock-oriented album Mutant in 2005 to positive reviews. As unabashed fans of hard rock music, Mutant marked the duo’s first serious venture outside their comfort zone – experimenting with a genre they always respected. That experimentation paid off – the album instantaneously became an immortal underground classic.

Nearly 10 years later with rights acquired from Psychopathic Records, TWIZTID is pleased to unleash a completely refreshed and reinvented edition of the record, entitled Mutant: Remixed & Remastered. The record hits stores March 4, 2016 via TWIZTID‘s Majik Ninja Entertainment in CD and vinyl formats. The tracks on Mutant: Remixed & Remastered were reimagined by long-time TWIZTID producer Michael “Seven” Summers and up-and-coming producer Michael Rideout.

Mutant: Remixed & Remastered is a must-have piece of TWIZTID history! Take a listen to the remastered version of “Respirator” here, which showcases the timeless rock sound of Mutant.

Pre-order now at www.TwiztidShop.com, or via iTunes to receive “Respirator” as an exclusive instant download.

TWIZTID is keeping busy – the duo recently announced both Canadian and U.S. legs of their 2016 Juggalo Invasion Tour. Each date will feature TWIZTID performing with their full band The Wickedness, and the tour will feature support from Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Boondox, Lex The Hex Master, Davey Suicide (U.S. only) and special guest Trelogy.

TWIZTID VIP packs will be available on the tour and will include a meet & greet with the entire tour line-up (sans Davey Suicide and Trelogy), a VIP laminate, an exclusive VIP single, exclusive tour hat pin, a die cut sticker, and a 24×36 poster. Get your VIP packs at www.TwiztidShop.com.

TOOTHGRINDER Premiere New Song “Diamonds for Gold” + Studio Clip

Toothgrinder promo

New Jersey’s TOOTHGRINDER continue to deliver new content to fans as they lead up to the release of Nocturnal Masquerade, their Spinefarm Records debut, which lands on January 29.

They have premiered the new song “Diamonds for Gold,” which features Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo, via Loudwire. Watch it HERE.

“‘Diamonds for Gold’ is one of those songs on the album that makes us proud that we have decided to take a leap into the unknown,” the band told Loudwire. “The track is a perfect introduction to the more ethereal side of Toothgrinder. It really sets the mood for the more dynamic tonal pieces of the record. A break from the chaos is exactly what Nocturnal Masquerade has called for. We had a lot of fun watching the song come together and hope that translates to the outside listener.”

The song will be available at all DSPs tomorrow.

The band has also shared a series of studio clips over at Revolver. Watch the first clip.

ICYMI: Check out the video for “Lace & Anchor,” which debuted over at Metal Hammer. See it HERE.
