Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy - Songs From the Garage

In anticipation of the release of their debut full-length, Songs From The Garage, Jim Breuer and The Loud & Rowdy have made the album available for pre-streaming via Pandora. The LP will be fully released next Friday, May 27th, via Metal Blade Records, with special guests such as Brian Johnson (AC/DC) – who provides vocals on two tracks – and producer/guitarist Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat). To hear Songs From The Garage in its entirety, please visit: http://pdora.co/SongsFromTheGarage

Breuer has created a record that is pure, unadulterated fun while remaining true to his rock sensibilities. Backing him up is The Loud & Rowdy, with Mike Tichy on drums, Joe Vigliotti on bass, and Metal Mike on guitar. After finding themselves on massive festival stages, the band headed into three different studios to record – Metrosonic Studios Brooklyn, Clear Track Studios, and Sonic Debris Recording Studio. With Caggiano on production and guitar duties, the album was filled with 11 musically badass tracks, featuring lyrics that are not only funny but also relatable, reflecting Breuer’s position in life: “A dad with three kids who loves family life yet is still a metalhead at heart.” To pre-order Songs From The Garage in various formats, please visit: metalblade.com/songsfromthegarage

Heavy Alt-Rockers VOODOO TERROR TRIBE Reveal New Music Video for ‘City of Sixes’ via Loudwire’s New Music Showcase

Il Nino - 15 Years of Revolution

New Jersey heavy alt-rock artists VOODOO TERROR TRIBE are currently on the road with Latin metal kings Ill Niño on their “15 Years of Revolution” Tour. The band is gearing up to release a new album, The Sun Shining Cold, later this year – produced by Ill Niño vocalist Cristian Machado. In anticipation of the album’s release, the band is pleased to reveal the music video for their new single “City of Sixes”. You can watch it now via Loudwire‘s New Music Showcase: http://loudwire.com/new-music-showcase-exclusive-premieres-from-knee-high-fox-the-reaktion-voodoo-terror-tribe-zodiac/

The music video for “City of Sixes” is directed by Scott Hansen (Motionless in White, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans) and produced by Mary Dixon and Bedelia Burris-McGrath, with co-production from VOODOO TERROR TRIBE and John Brennan.

Guitarist and synth programmer Emir Erkal states, “This new video is a camp-commentary on modern society, showing Voodoo Terror Tribe as something like ‘bladerunners’; masquerading as musicians to snuff out a club full of party-goers for being “just too modern”.”

The Sun Shining Cold promises to be VOODOO TERROR TRIBE‘s most sonically advanced offering yet! Producer Cristian Machado recognized the raw talent within the band and knew they had something special to offer to the rock scene. “This album is possibly one of the best metal albums I’ve ever been a part of,” states Machado. “You don’t always get to work with such talented musicians who just so happen to be mature and dedicated to bringing something fresh to the evolution of the genre. I comfortably refer to them as “haunted metal” but in all honesty they are a new breed of metal yet to be heard under this style and context. In my heart of hearts, I truly believe they are here to contribute an impressive approach and styling to the evolution of metal.”

Erkal adds, “This is an album full of surprises, with heavy guitars and crushing drums, but yet melodic and catchy tunes with layers of haunted, mysterious, electronic and industrial sounds, with mainly dark, twisted concepts, where we’re at a post-apocalyptic, decaying life, with still hopes to prevail and for the sun to shine hot again… I can proudly say that without a doubt this is the best work that we, as VOODOO TERROR TRIBE, have ever done and can’t wait for everyone to hear!”

About VOODOO TERROR TRIBE:

Hailing from the Garden State of New Jersey and dedication to a melodically heavy brand of music, VOODOO TERROR TRIBE has high hopes for the near future. Formed by Emir Erkal on guitars (an Istanbul, Turkey native who moved to USA in order to take his musical career to the next level) and longtime friend T-Bone on drums, the duo soon brought in Primer on bass and topped off their alt-metal sound with the masterfully vocalized emotional poetry by vocalist Gil PZ.

Their discography includes 2005’s Mandala EP, 2007’s Alone In Pain, 2009’s Symptoms of Sin recorded with Billy Graziadei (Biohazard / Suicide City), 2011’s Stands To Reason EP, which they toured heavily in support of. 2014’s A Walk in Hell EP soon followed, featuring the track “BloodSoaked”, which also was featured by way of music video and premiered via Revolver Magazine – taking the band to a whole new level. VOODOO TERROR TRIBE has previously performed with Biohazard, W.A.S.P., LA Guns, The Rods, Spread Eagle and beyond.

Whitechapel premieres new track, “The Void”, via Loudwire.com

Whitechapel - Mark of the Blade

On June 24th, Whitechapel will release their sixth full-length, Mark of the Blade, worldwide via Metal Blade Records. Pushing their sound forward with each successive release, Mark of the Blade remains true to the band’s roots while venturing into previously unexplored territory, both sonically and lyrically. For a preview of the album, the new single, “The Void”, is now streaming via Loudwire.com: http://loudwire.com/whitechapel-the-void-exclusive-song-premiere

Alex Wade (guitars) comments: “This track is the opener for the record and it sets the pace nicely for the rest of the CD. It’s a different sound for us but still heavy and aggressive. As you can see from the title track to this, the dynamic between songs on the album is quite different so we hope the fans enjoy all the new sounds we brought to the table on this record.”

For another preview of Mark of the Blade, the title track can be heard at: metalblade.com/whitechapel – where the record can also be pre-ordered in various formats.

Reunited with producer Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse), Whitechapel has redefined who they are and what they are capable of with their new album, Mark of the Blade. Kicking off with “The Void” – which has a Slayer-esque ferocity that is perfectly suited to the band’s three-guitar attack – the songs that follow all leave a distinct impression, and by the time the rich, dark melodies on “Decennium” bring the record to a close, it’s impossible to deny the emotional weight brought to bear. Guitarist Alex Wade explains, “At this point in our career and as we grow older, we are taking a more open-minded approach to creating our music, allowing what we think sounds good to evolve naturally, rather than to just write what is expected of us.”

See below for the official track-listing!

Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy premieres new track, “Mr. Rock n’ Roll” (featuring Brian Johnson of AC/DC), via RollingStone.com

Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy - Songs From the Garage

Comedian Jim Breuer along with backing band The Loud & Rowdy have just released their latest single “Mr. Rock n’ Roll”, which features vocals by Brian Johnson of AC/DC. Breuer tells Rolling Stone of the collaboration: “To me, Brian is the most powerful voice in rock and roll. He is also the funniest and most generous man I have ever known. I am still in awe of how he recorded the song and forever thankful.” To hear the track, please visit: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/hear-brian-johnson-jim-breuer-screech-new-song-mr-rock-n-roll-20160517

“Mr. Rock n’ Roll” comes off Breuer’s forthcoming musical debut, Songs From The Garage, which is set for release next Friday, May 27th via Metal Blade Records. To pre-order the record in various formats, please visit: metalblade.com/songsfromthegarage – where the previous singles, “Be a D**k 2Nite” and “Thrash”, can also be heard.

In addition to special appearances from Brian Johnson, the album was also produced and features guitar by Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat). Backing Breuer up is The Loud & Rowdy with Mike Tichy on drums and Joe Vigliotti on bass. The inspiration for all of this comes from Breuer’s adolescent immersion in the world of heavy music, falling in love with Judas Priest and AC/DC, alongside the likes of The Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, and Van Halen. The fire to start a band was soon lit under him, though he wouldn’t begin his musical career until he was older. Having finally made the album that has been burning to get out of him since his teens, Breuer couldn’t be happier with the result.

Like lightning, inspiration can strike at any time. The members of ENTHEOSChaney Crabb [vocals], Evan Brewer [bass], and Navene Koperweis [drums]-collectively felt that surge. Longtime friends Navene, and Evan co-founded Animosity and remained in the group until its split in 2008. Evan enjoyed a stint in The Faceless, while Navene joined Animals As Leaders, and Malcolm played in A Loathing Requiem, Diskreet, and Inferi.

Already garnishing a reputation for their intense live show, and aggressive stage presence, they garnered over 10,000 “likes” on Facebook (within a month), while Primal became #1 across Bandcamp in March 2015. Artery Recordings signed the group as they went on to tour with Veil of Maya, Oceano and did festival dates with Between The Buried And Me and The Red Chord. Immediately after, they hit the studio to cut their first full-length album for the label. “It’s more in-depth,” he remarks regarding the new material. “The songs have gotten a bit longer, but you know it’s ENTHEOS.”
