Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy premiere new video for “Old School” via; new album, ‘Songs From The Garage’, lands on Billboard charts

Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy - Songs From the Garage

Following an appearance on Howard Stern yesterday (June 7th), Jim Breuer has launched a video for “Old School”, taken from Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy‘s new album, Songs From The Garage. Staying true to the theme of the album, the video begins in Breuer’s garage and shows him paying tribute to the rock legends that inspired this musical endeavor in the first place. He and his backing band work their way from practicing in a garage to playing a huge venue, with guest appearances from Ozzy Osbourne, Brian Johnson, and even Kurt Cobain. Breuer says of the track: “This song is the perfect catchy summertime Hard Rock tune for you, and it’s a throwback! It’s ‘OLD SCHOOL'”. The recently released Songs From The Garage debuted at #13 on the Billboard Hard Rock Music Albums chart, plus #116 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart. To preview and purchase the record in various formats, head over to:

Songs From The Garage features eleven tracks that are not only funny, but also relatable, reflecting Breuer’s position in life: “A dad with three kids who loves family life, yet is still a metalhead at heart.” Breuer set out to make (most importantly) solid heavy rock, while maintaining a balance of comedy – and he accomplished just that. The album also includes special guests such as Brian Johnson (AC/DC) – who provides vocals on two tracks – and producer/guitarist Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat). See below for the track-listing, as well as upcoming tour dates!

With over 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Jim Breuer remains one of today’s top touring comedians, known for his charismatic stage antics, dead-on impressions, and family-friendly stand-up. After making his big break in 1995 when he joined the cast of NBC’s legendary “Saturday Night Live,” Breuer quickly became a fan-favorite for his original character “Goat Boy” and his dead-on impressions of actor Joe Pesci. Following his success on SNL, Breuer starred alongside Dave Chappelle in the cult favorite film “Half Baked.”

Cerebral brutalists COGNITIVE emerged in 2011 with the sole intent to create heavy and intensely technical music, while maintaining a creative edge; placing them light years beyond a sea of over-produced sub-genres. Hailing from South Jersey, COGNITIVE combine technicality, mind-bending groove, searing guitar solos, and brutally abstract song writing; COGNITIVE continue to push themselves outside of the box, while maintaining a sheer brutal edge.

ELISIUM is a 3-piece band from central (Fredericksburg) Virginia. Their sound is a unique blend of dark rock, and modern metal. Most often compared to Tool and Chevelle, ELISIUM sounds huge for only being 3 guys. The band is independent, and has been touring full time since June of 2013.  Having played 45 states, and over 300 shows in 2 years, ELISIUM is no stranger to hard work and dedication. ELISIUM has toured with names such as Saving Abel, Tantric, Another Lost Year, Art of Dying, Wayland, Shallow Side, Zach Myers (of Shinedown) and many more. Their latest album, “Shoreline”, was recorded by Brett Hestla (Creed, Framing Hanley, Dark New Day) and was released in April 2015. ELISIUM is proudly sponsored by several great brands and products including Coldcock Whiskey, Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Spector Bass, Puncture Wounds Clothing, GHS Strings, Saluda Cymbals, inTune Guitar Picks, and Sweyn Forkbeard.
