wwnWe are just a couple of days away from two EVOLVE events this weekend that will set the tone for the WWNLive Experience on Wrestlemania weekend in Orlando, FL. Yesterday, we looked at EVOLVE 78 this Friday in Joppa, MD. Today, we have a Quickie Preview for EVOLVE 79 back home at La Boom in Queens, NY, Style Battle news, another Seminar/Tryout added and a tough match schedule for Keith Lee. Let’s get to it….

February 22nd: You can still get tickets for EVOLVE 78 this Friday in Joppa, MD and EVOLVE 79 this Saturday in Queens, NY at TicketFly.com. We have not raised ticket prices in 2017 to help absorb the fees! In addition, you can now print out tickets at home or show the barcode on your cellphone. There is no need to pay fees to have them mailed or wait at will call anymore! Go to the WWNLive.com Events section for all the event and building info. If you can’t be there in person, watch both events live at FloSlam.tv.

February 22nd: Keith Lee signed with WWN in January to test his skills in singles competition. EVOLVE has put together a match schedule over the next four events that will push Lee to the limits. Four opponents, four different styles, four top competitors – The Keith Lee Trial Series has:

February 24th – Joppa, MD – EVOLVE 78 – Lee vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

February 25th – Queens, NY – EVOLVE 79 – Lee vs. Tracy Williams

March 30th – Orlando, FL – EVOLVE 80 – Lee vs. Ricochet

NEW MATCH: March 31st – Orlando, FL – EVOLVE 81 – Lee vs. Donovan Dijak

wwn1February 22nd: ATTN: WRESTLERS– The Seminar/Tryout on March 30th in Orlando will sellout. If you are interested in attending, we suggest acting soon. February 22nd: Tickets are now on sale for Style Battle S1:E3 on March 12th in Ybor City, FL. Jason Cade, Jon Davis and Martin Stone have officially been added to the field that already includes Kyle Matthews and James Drake.

February 22nd: There is nothing like EVOLVE at La Boom in Queens, NY! We are finally back for the first event of 2017 this Saturday. Here is a rundown:

WWN & EVOLVE Wrestling present
EVOLVE 79
Saturday, February 25th, 2017
Belltime – 6:00 PM EST
La Boom
56-15 Northern Blvd
Woodside, NY, 11377

Get tickets here.

EVOLVE Championship Match
Timothy Thatcher w/ Stokely Hathaway/Fred Yehi winner at EVOLVE 78 defends vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

Zack Sabre Jr. has been on a long, bumpy road to get this EVOLVE Title shot. After Chris Hero’s endorsement at the last EVOLVE event, he is ready. The biggest variable is if he’ll face Thatcher or Yehi.

Bonus Match Event Grudge Match
Drew Galloway vs. Matt Riddle

It’s the grudge match months in the making! Galloway tried to get Riddle to join him in his quest to “save EVOLVE from itself.” Riddle kicked Galloway in the neck, leading to an injury. Now Galloway is focused on “saving EVOLVE” by eliminating Riddle. Make sure to watch this for Galloway’s words towards Riddle.

Grudge Match
Ethan Page with The Gatekeepers vs. Darby Allin

This issue is as deep as it gets. Allin made is EVOLVE debut on Wrestlemania weekend last year in Dallas after impressing in a Seminar/Tryout. Page gave him a quick defeat. Allin showed perseverance and demanded another match. He gave Page more of a fight, but once again Page defeated him after throwing him into a support beam. Page then refused to grant Allin another match, saying that he was beneath him. Allin has interjected himself in Page’s business over and over. He finally pushed Page over the edge when he watched Page pass out at the hands of Zack Sabre Jr. last month in San Antonio. Now Page is out to exterminate Allin.

Special Challenge Match #1
EVOLVE Tag Team Champion Tracy Williams vs. Keith Lee

Lee wants singles competition. This Saturday he’ll get the leader of Catch Point. Williams has racked up huge singles victories against Chris Hero and Drew Gulak to end 2016. Now he needs to keep the momentum going in 2017. Who will win?

Special Challenge Match #2
ACH vs. Jason Kincaid

ACH has a title shot on the line. If he wins his matches at EVOLVE 78 and EVOLVE 79, he will challenge for the EVOLVE Title on Wrestlemania weekend. Kincaid has quietly established himself on the EVOLVE roster. Both these men have very unique styles. Both need the victory.

Special Attraction Match
Jeff Cobb vs. Jaka

Cobb and Jaka has both been forces in EVOLVE with impressive wins and physical styles. No hype needed here.

Four Way Freestyle
Thatcher/Yehi loser at EVOLVE 78 vs. Chris Dickinson vs. Austin Theory vs. Anthony Henry

Freestyle matches always deliver action. This one will have three hungry talents and a man who needs to get back on his feet after losing a title match the previous night. This will be explosive.

February 22nd: Thank you for reading today’s WWN Alerts. What do you think of this weekend’s EVOLVE cards? Tweet using hashtag #WWNLive and let us know. We value your feedback. Remember, you can watch both cards this weekend live at FloSlam.tv. It’s only $20 for a one month subscription or $150 for an entire year. That makes each live event the same cost as a cup of coffee! Thank you for all your support!
