REVOCATION Drop New Song “Profanum Vulgus” New Studio Video Available

Revocation - Great Is Our Sin

As REVOCATION near closer to the release of their latest masterpiece Great is Our Sin, the band is pleased to debut another track entitled “Profanum Vulgus”.  The song, which was first heard with an exclusive interview with frontman Dave Davidson on the Metal Sucks Podcast earlier this week, can be heard HERE.

REVOCATION has also released a video providing in-depth footage from the recording process of Great Is Our Sin.  Watch the video HERE.

Having delivered five killer albums boasting some of the most potent, technical and abrasive metal unleashed over the last decade, it would be easy for REVOCATION to sit back and rest upon their laurels. However, with their constant drive to push their sound ever forward and refusal to compromise their integrity, this could never be the case – and Great Is Our Sin is their most dynamic, boundary-pushing and weighty release to date.

The lyric video for the song “Monolithic Ignorance” can be viewed HERE.  The lyric video for  “Crumbling Imperium” is available to stream HERE.

Great is Our Sin is slated for a July 22nd release date via Metal Blade Records.  The first song track streaming from the album entitled “Communion” is streaming now at http://www.metalblade.com/revocation Pre-order your copy of Great is Our Sinin exclusive bundle packages there as well!

When it came time for the follow up to 2014’s Deathless the quartet had their work cut out for them, and their response to the challenge is a record that grabs you by the throat and refuses to let go. Never forcing anything, the songs that would comprise Great Is Our Sin came together organically, and while the members being spread all around North America would have been an impediment to some, REVOCATION drew strength from it.

Reuniting with producer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Bleeding Through), who also helmed Deathless and 2012’s Teratogenesis EP, the record packs the requisite punch, yet retains the organic feel with which it was conceived.  Known for their technical prowess, the band remained dedicated to upping the ante without ever losing sight of the importance of good songwriting.

Regardless of the state of the world, nothing is going to slow REVOCATION down any time soon. Whilst the lineup has changed over the ten years the band has been in existence, Davidson’s passion has never waned, and they are arguably sounding better than ever as they look toward the future. “We can’t wait to bring these songs out on the road and perform them for different audiences all over the world. Great Is Our Sin is a new chapter for the band, and collectively we feel that it is our defining record to date.”

In support of Great Is Our Sin, REVOCATION will be hitting the road this summer as part of the Summer Slaughter tour alongside Cannibal Corpse, Nile, After the Burial, Suffocation, Carnifex, Krisiun, Slaughter to Prevail and Ingested.  The tour kicks July 23rd in Ft. Guitarist Alex Wade comments: “A big thank you to all the Chapel fans who have picked up this record or plan to – supporting music by buying records is how to keep your favorite bands alive.”

Hailed as “an exciting milestone” (Alt Press), Mark of the Blade was produced by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse) and sees Whitechapel redefine who they are and what they are capable of with the resulting 11 tracks. Kicking off with “The Void” – which has a Slayer-esque ferocity that is perfectly suited to the band’s three-guitar attack – the songs that follow all leave a distinct impression, and by the time the rich, dark melodies on “Decennium” bring the record to a close, it’s impossible to deny the emotional weight brought to bear. Alex Wade explains, “At this point in our career and as we grow older, we are taking a more open-minded approach to creating our music, allowing what we think sounds good to evolve naturally, rather than to just write what is expected of us.”

To purchase Mark of the Blade in various formats, please visit: metalblade.com/whitechapel – where the video for the latest single, “Elitist Ones”, can also be viewed.

COLDCOCK Whiskey Artist Harlow Performing This Month!

Harlow Coldcock

Power, Ferocity, strength and beauty… These are some of the words that come to mind when you witness and hear HARLOW first time. HARLOW delivers a sound that shapes a mixture of Rock, Pop, Punk influences which support lead singer, Lauren Harlow’s powerful and dynamic vocal prowess; cannot help but make comparisons to Pat Benatar, Debbie Harry, Joan Jett and Pink. Relatively new to the musical world, HARLOW has been tearing up each and every stage they grace. Upon forming in 2013, Lauren, Joe Allen, Kevin Razlog, Kelly Weaver spent years making a name for themselves in other groups in the local Detroit scene. As HARLOW came together they knew that something special was going on and they wasted no time to get the momentum rolling. Acclaimed as a Super Group of local talent by some, these four have shrugged off this label and have spent most of 2014 not only representing Detroit but spreading out to the Midwest and venturing new areas in the east of the US to larger and larger crowds. With the recent release of a self-titled EP and the pending release of their first full length Album “Shattered” the band is gearing up for more shows across the US and showing everyone who and what they are made of. With the exit of Joe Allen in 2015 and the entrance of Tomas Lopez, HARLOW has taken great strides toward the next level. HARLOW is the next bombshell on modern music and strives to make music that will connect with all ages, creeds and provide people with music to be a fan of again.
