MOONSPELL to Return to North America This Winter With Epica!
Portuguese Dark Metal pioneers MOONSPELL first brought the dark flames to their native country – and then set the rest of the world aflame with milestone albums including Irreligious and Night Eternal. Now with their eleventh studio album Extinct, the band has erected yet another monument in the realm of gothic music.
In support of the album, MOONSPELL toured across the world and they are not ready to stop anytime soon. The band is pleased to announce that they will be returning to North America sharing the stage with Symphonic Metal legends Epica. The tour starts January 21st in New York, NY and wraps up with an appearance on the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise. A list of all dates can be found below. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10:00 AM in all local time zones.
MOONSPELL frontman Fernando Ribeiro commented on the upcoming tour:
“We are thrilled to return the US, alongside our friends in Epica. This will be our first tour of the year so we will for sure celebrate with our American and Canadian fans. It is a real honor to share the stage with Epica. We will be sure to haunt this tour with our absolute Portuguese darkness. Under the spell!”
